A CELEBRATION LIKE NO OTHER!

Every October, San Antonio comes alive for Muertos Fest, a vibrant Día de los Muertos celebration of life, culture, and community. What began as a small outdoor altar exhibition in 2013 has grown into an internationally recognized festival, welcoming more than 135,000 people to Hemisfair.

Free and open to all, Muertos Fest honors three days of Día de los Muertos traditions with 80+ handmade altars, colorful processions, live music, art, poetry, incredible food, and more—all as one of the nation’s largest Día de los Muertos celebrations, right here in San Antonio.
